Factory Girl

June 30, 2009 - 7:05 pm No Comments

I knew nothing about Andy Warhol and Edie Sedgewick before seeing this movie, so I had no idea how it would go. It took a while to enter, but was very fascinating. Sienna Miller absolutely acted her socks off in this film - I was very impressed as I had no idea that it could act that way.

She really deserves the recognition of that character to play. The story was very well said, interspersed with quick flashbacks Factory Girl his past explained that almost became a bad person. Meeting Andy Warhol did not do much to help and became involved in this drugged-up, screwed the world, which led to his downfall.

I’d like to see a film about Andy Warhol, as it is quite interesting, and this movie left me detesting him. It would be good to discuss in detail in his life, to understand what made him the person he was.

Duel At Ichijoji Temple

The second part of the “Musashi Musashino ‘trilogy is a definite improvement in the first, is much more concentrated and organized, but still not very good. Narrative on raids all over the place, the study provides very clear and very crude, and the action is, frankly, a bit of disarray.

The trilogy has been a great popular success in Japan in the fifties, and history have been made and re-made several times (often with the same cast), but if you are not familiar with it, simply will not Duel At Ichijoji Temple to have any resonance for you. In fact, you can do better to look like a melodramatic comedy, especially as the director puts it all together at the end of something mechanical could easily be played as farce. Oh, and for those who complain about this page and transfer the color, I am afraid that the way it is supposed to look.

Do not blame the club or the transfer, and excessive guilt Eastmancolor eager production designer lighting and camera, both trying to create a magical environment and realistic. Other observations suggest that here.

Legends Of Country Blues Guitar - Vol. 2

Legends Of Country Blues Guitar - Vol. 2 For any fan of blues, the ability to capture Howling Wolf and Son House is au naturel, without doubt, to be relished, and these actions are only the intimate backroom ticket.

They may be out of tune, and Son House was drunk enough to be a pain when the wolf is trying to sing (which is, however, quite good), but there is a unique reality for all these performancesAbove, nothing Skip James’s extraordinary worth seeing, and bright-here only a few poets of the blues scale, and is not to be missed! I have not mentioned is more like Gary Davis, Leadbelly, and generally, this is a very valuable experience. Enjoy!

Black Christmas

Black Christmas This was quite possibly the worst film I’ve seen in my life was boring, negative, no history. I could say after the first 10 minutes that was not what I expected.

I feel like someone owes me 90mins of my life, the only reason that I have seen the end so i didn’t feel as if I had lost one of my monthly rent. I love horror movies, even cheesy horror films but this was in a different league. I recommend not waste your time with this poor excuse for a movie!

Ringers - Lord Of The Fans

Well, I’m a big fan of The Lord of the Rings, having read the books several times and loved the Peter Jackson movies. However, I can honestly say that this dvd is absolutely terrible.

I expected a little more, but this was just an opportunity to see how some fans take things to the extreme, dressing in costumes and so forth. I Ringers - Lord Of The Fans I found myself passing through the DVD about 15 minutes after seeing it was deaf. I also found throughout the cartoony graphics tedious.

In short, do not waste time renting this unless you want to see some fans over think they are actually characters in the story, almost all of this is dvd. Shame I could give a negative vote.

Rest Stop

Not sure what to expect from this film as the title sounded familiar, but according to the trailer was not released in U.S. due to movie theaters who is giving a [R] rating, and who was “too shocking for the movies’ and I’m not quite sure if it was released here in the United Kingdom

as I have heard more about the DVD I made then the film release. Anyway, much hype for a film with an unknown cast and a seeming cast directly to DVD though, this movie does not disappoint one bit! The movie has “elements” of “The hills have ojos”Hitcher” and perhaps “openings” that you can find familiar if you’ve seen these titles, but the film is very well written with a plot that is sustainable over yet suspense really bring this film to life as opposed to the “shock factor of value.”

There were bloody bits here and there, but they’re really on the edge of their seats as the main “Nicole is stalked and terrorized. This is a must see for all thriller / horror fans.

The extras are disappointing alittle but you should check alternate endings and ‘Scotty’s Blog. “Personally, I think the order that was used in the final cut is the best of the lot.

Let me know what you think! Enjoy!

Fahrenheit 9/11

June 29, 2009 - 10:05 am No Comments

I must admit I never liked Bush before the first ‘elected’. He seemed a man who thought it was real life in a cowboy movie and only had to look in their eyes and see that not much had really happened. After stealing the election in America in 2000 through a combination of business and family connections that led to his country and the rest of the world on a path of destruction and the consequences of violence that we are only beginning to understand fully.

With my views of Michael Moore Bush firmly thought the dish just usual vitriol that we have heard many time before. Not a bit of that!

I just can not get my head around the massive corruption that surrounds this man, a man who can not string a sentence together without a break in the middle and, when told that his country was under attack on 11 in September started reading BAA BAA black sheep. This man has no morals, despite his alleged Christrian belief that only cares about power and money. Taking his country down a path that ensures all your friends and your Dad get richer while American freedoms have been eroded in the name of security and a nation living in fear.

Now I understand how the nation could re-elect the Fahrenheit 9/11 a man and this administration. Fear! Michael Moore reveals the Bush family’s ties with the Bin Laden family.

How are all funded firms not started during his early days, how is it ensured that he left the country in the days after 9 / 11, although there were no other aircraft in the skies of America. How stupid is pulled face and seconds before he was laughed at issue to the nation that had launched his attack on Iraq, the most unjust war of our generation.

Moore spends a lot of time speaking to the families of soldiers in Iraq, which are all patriots, but when their loved ones at home in bodybags can not understand what their children died for. To interview the American soldiers who do not know why they are there in what is fast becoming the new Vietnam America, headed by a man and by people who are pulling their strings are the biggest threat to global security today .

Nixon seems almost a saint by comparison. Anyone who cares about the state of the world today needs to see this.

Yes it was from a bias, and is designed for the emotions stirred, however, and is in fact a careful examination of major developments. Unfortunately it did not achieve the ultimate goal is to discredit Bush as do unelectable. I implore you to watch this.

Knocked Up

Knocked Up Judd Apatow has become this generation of John Hughes with a finger on the pulse of many age groups at once. First, with 40 years of age and 20 somethings here and, finally, with adolescents superb, he has found that humor remains the sam … (read more) and way for any age, provided they do not pull their blows.

Knocked Up is not a pull. The characters are solid and comedy oozing from the fantastic opportunity interractions between inadequate. It feels less forced and less than the main scene of the comedy now beaten by the stillers, Wilsons vaughns and had this level of ease.

Hit to date works as a film, as one whole piece and extravagance is a completely honest in his political opinion on almost everything. The performances are rare (ikeable burns and middle classes is nice) and the tone is very romantic fairy tale edge that is probably why the definition of major blockbusters.

A comedy for all.
