Malice @ Doll
The end of the movie made me feel like the end of Serial Experiment Lain, confused. It is a good concept and I appreciate what the director was trying to convey.
It felt very much like a robot must not be human and has feelings vibe.A little more explanation of why these things were happening, would not have gone wrong. But then, Japanese movies are just
known for their in-depth explanations. It ’s very strange film, with some awkward moments “this is not going to be okay” tension. It is only a short (78 minutes) and for the fans of the genre that is worth a clock.
There are better movies there, but there is much worse.Final note, you may get sick of the phrase “It’s the only thing I can do.”
