Focused on the parallels between the harsh reality in Spain in time of war and fantasy world of a child, where you can escape the realities of his father’s fascist - this is not a fairy tale for children … spiral between bleak picture of the darkest depths of humanity, and perhaps even darker than most worlds have forgotten or can no longer see as their innocence is lost … or is the fantasy of reality …?
You can rotate and turn your mind around this argument throughout the night, and it’s hard work in places … and yet there is much beauty and pleasure to be had here too …
Clever special effects, quality of performance, and great music - this is a must see … Hype deserved …
