Snakes On A Plane

March 11, 2010 - 3:10 am No Comments

Imagine your in a jumbo jet flying hundreds of miles above the ground when poisenous snakes will start falling from the ceiling, which appears from the ground and sliding down the leg. Then imagine electrical failures, shootings, poisoned and dead passengers and a large super Pithon that can swallow people and all that what you have here.

Its great, very entertaining and much more frightened than he ever would imagine. There should be more people jumping out of there seats.

I do not expect much from this, and lets face it. The title does not help, but believe me when I say that is an excellent horror / action movie worth seeing. Around The World In 80 Days

March 9, 2010 - 12:55 am No Comments

Jackie Chan returns to turn another tired Hollywood formula of Jackie Chan that worked so well in the eighties. Linking old boy and a coming star and allow the screen to eat the only way he knows, feet first.

So then welcome to our own Steve Coogan, who to be fair, that leaves the whole sorry mess with their dignity intact. But only a little. The thing is that the film falls flat on his face every time you try to be funny and once you’ve seen Jackie yours, in all but a hundred films not least, you can not fail to dispose of a procedure only feeling somewhat short changed.

Any movie that relies on cameos by stars, and boy they do that here, always going to have a steep hill to climb. Jackie has done much better movies, check out “Project A” and “Police Story” for more tests. Steve Coogan has made better films, check out ‘Twenty-four hours party people “…

You see where this is going? Around the world it is only watchable, just do not go too far from the way they see it.

Hey Scorcheesy that Martin is a pretty decent like me. I’m basically doing to Iraq what Marty did for the film industry, more or less. Certainly not the Iraq war started, that’s a common mistake and I’d rather play guitar go to war, because as you know I’m a pretty decent.

Weapons of mass destruction and Saddam are Romanian subtitles on this DVD - they are there if you know where to look for them otherwise they are invisible. Pretty neat analogy do not you think?

I hope I am convinced that very decent - cos I know.

This is the funniest movie I’ve seen in a long time. The fact that someone made a movie about gay cowboys is brilliant, and had me in stitches throughout. It was not meant to be fun, but if you enjoy shows like Family Guy and South Park is on this side of distribution.

The story was pretty boring but the performance was brilliant, as we have come to expect from these big players. Must have been a very difficult movie to act in

Basically, I understand that my view is the opposite of most people and how they intended this film, but it’s fun and if you’re like me, you’ll enjoy it just because it has gay cowboys.

Lassie

Lassie is a remake of the classic tale about a hero dog that has a different opinion on the multi-talented animals. Set in a Yorkshire mining town of this version of Lassie has a fun but somewhat traumatic history of unconditional love of dogs to their owner as a young boy’s efforts to negotiate hundreds of miles of the country only after being sold and transferred to a remote castle in northern Scotland.

Lassie has a fabulous cast and clung along, but in our opinion, the tear jerking scenes were too, I would not let my children see this kind of thing that s safe. On several occasions, you witness cruelty to animals very seriously, in a case that caused the death of the passenger dwarf type s only companion, a helpless little puppy, who was beaten to death with a baseball bat! This is a strange world where people find this entertaining and I think it’s good for children to witness this are many sad moments in this film, many of which form what is a funny movie, but the beating of animals in a children’s film or any film, not something that we approve of.

The happy ending is not as you might expect and the film is very watchable But beware, this crosses the line from the patient into tears a few times .. 3 stars.

Kim Basinger plastic and I’m not talking about acting, there’s a scene in which the plastic is so obvious that it should be in an episode of Dr. Who wondow breaking through a store. I personally sue the surgeon, anyway I digress. If anything can go wrong with a mobile, well except for losing the SIM card is here.

A hole filled plot, the story predictable, because the car chase, but some just as, sometimes, Ms. Basinger. High point for me was when the bad guy, well acted, I might add, butting the ‘hero’ and says “it felt good,” I challenge anyone of you do not want to do well. Still, it was a nice movie Sunday night.

It’s worth seeing if the average Joe is a hero of American movies.

If you seek a kind of all Americans feel good film - stay clear! To begin with you feel like you’re watching a movie stony. I think the movement of people scored lower were in search of a Rocky’s final - which never comes.

What is a money smart, skillfully materialize in an instant. I have not seen this movie in the cinema, but no one has left the room with a smile on your face, or a dry eye.

The end result is tragic, depressed and feel bad “- and you’ll pass this simplistic masterpiece that was exactly what he deserves at the Oscars. A certain return to Eastwood.

Fur - An Imaginary Portrait of Diane Arbus

February 8, 2010 - 10:07 am No Comments

Fur - An Imaginary Portrait of Diane Arbus I’ve seen some weird movies in my time, but this is the strangest and not in the right direction. It is described as an imaginary portrait of the artist Diane Arbus.

What is the amount of imagination and true to her life I do not know. I only know a little about it, and had seen some of his photographs. If one believes in this “imagined life” then I would say she was not only strange, but positively crazy and Kinky.

The problem may be my sense of humor. They call me a philistine, and I do not think I’m going to give something back, when I say that both the bath and shaving scenes of hysterical laughter make me mourn.

I am sure that this is not what the director wanted. But if you have a sense of humor at all, probably should not watch this movie.

I do not know how the actors through it. I was on the floor.

Highwaymen

I thought about throwing my pennies on in this film. It is an hour and fifteen minutes long - not just “filler” feeling some movies have, so do not take his whole night if not to their liking. For me - I enjoyed it.

It’s a bit disturbing at times is a bit tacky, and yes, the plot has a lot of holes Highwaymen in it (not too long I think of these - for example, why a “desk job” accident investigator participate on their own?), but “accidents” are very impressive (if you’ll pardon the pun) and godsend to have seen last night, felt like a breath of fresh air.

Seen all the movies of the time, and then give it a spin! But do not blame me if I do not.
