Doctor Who - The New Series - Vol. 2

OK - I admit, I was never a fan of the old doctor, “who” - was too cheap, too dumb and too outdated. But this serie’Wow ‘, which has had me hooked from the opening of the first episode - and only gets better!

The lead performances of the two (Eccleston and Piper) can not be criticized and is much better than any other actor I can think of the UK television at the time. The special effects are excellent and are about to make big budget movies a run for money Theit.

Episodes Doctor Who - The New Series - Vol. 2 on this album are wonderful.

“Aliens of London / World War 3″ begins as a normal run-of-the-mill Alien Invasion of Earth - but not, it is much better than that. With an excellent supported by the likes of Penelope Wilton and Annette Badland 90 minutes of screen time flashes by!

Match Point

Quite possibly the worst film I’ve seen. The film features a cast of accomplished so I can only blame the director for the extraordinary performances of wood. The London of the film is cliché (shots of the Changing of the Guard at Buckingham Palace, the flat front of the Houses of Parliament) and the plot is as old as Match Point the hills.

There is zero chemistry between any of the characters and some real cringe worthy and vomit-inducing lines. Also for too long - I wish I could get a refund in the (more) two hours of my life I lost in this absolutely useless chatter.

I wish I could give this movie a negative score. Avoid at all costs.

Amazing.

Are you crazy? 56%?

I saw this movie recently and was thoroughly beaten fear. Woody Allen is a genius.

I thought it would be a movie about ‘tennis’ (Wimbledon) - but was informed it was written and directed by Woody, so we really wanted to see. I knew the man was a great Match Point writer, actor, director - but this movie really hits on all fronts.

Brian Cox, the father figure in the film has many lines - but each line is like gold, honey … And that goes for all dialogs. Custom give anything in the story, but I recommend this as a ‘must see’.

I must be honest, I fell asleep halfway through this, so perhaps can not be giving the film the credit it deserves - or it may also be indicative of how this film is boring. He had no desire to rewind and skip to the bits i was lost.

I am a fan of Alan Bennett and especially like going to the The History Boys see their works in the theater. I think this should have maintained a stage production, do not translate well on film.

It seems to drag on for years, most of the characters are highly irritating and pompous language. She would feel a failure unless it is an avid fan of Alan Bennett (and even then only if there is nothing decent on TV).

Iris

First, I must say that I have in this film was how it was conceived, but tough. Also, my apologies if this comment is a bit, but I can not help myself when I’m in it. Right.

First I must say that if you’re expecting a biography of the life of Iris Murdoch, is taste. This film, unlike many mediocre films that have come before a crowd of public figures, has the focus.

It revolves almost completely around years after Iris and her descent into oblivion because of Alzheimer’s disease. That’s a good thing believe it or not. The shape of the film shifts between past and present is so fast and break toward the end, that is Iris making it even more heartbreaking, showing the confusion, memories (fragmented or repressed) and basically make you feel like I was living through history, along with Iris and her husband.

Judi Dench and Jim Broadbent put in wonderful performances, and while Winslet’s performance leaves a bit to be desired, I must say that the casting was almost perfect. Similarities between the present and the past are almost instantly recognizable (Hugh Bonneville, for example, is a wonderful show and is a similarity wonerful as the young John Bayley) - no easy task!

In summary, If you like a bit of real history, and like a little drama, some comedy, some crying with a bit of sentimentality thrown, you’ll love this.

Shaun Of The Dead

Shaun Of The Dead Read and heard great things about it and being a massive fan of other things If Pegg (hippies, space etc.) we were waiting for this. Shaun is a character of the cracks, the jokes are good especially the scenes where he is blissfully unaware that zombies have taken over the neighborhood.

But, oh God, that falls on it’s head is Ed, the character has no redeeming features and his jokes, which the wind is supposed to be funny for children and childish. The only thing I felt for him was give him a good kick - and more exaggerated in writing. The Gore is cracking with nods to the classics like Gorefest Flesheaters and of course all zombie films of George Romero, is dead.

Not bad, but not as good as the paint. Natch

The History Boys That is what this movie should have been called! - It is absolutely horrible.

I do not know how much you like the magazine of nuts was paid to call this film a classic of British comedy, but that should be truly ashamed of themselves. This film has nothing in common with any of my school days - thank God!

and everyone saw this agreement. Its nothing to do with the school, indeed, its only a class full of bummers that with his teachers and I thought it was an unfunny and if something is not a homosexual dis-service and half of the characters appear to be Fart’s - Utter W @ NK! No - I do not hire this film.

If you really want to make your own mind as oftern i do when I say that a movie is sh! T - you can have my copy as I stupidly bought the cheap blockbusters - message me and the movie is yours!
