Trial And Error

I was looking forward to seeing this movie, although I have never heard of him before spots here. How could it miss? I love the cinema of this period and with 2 brilliant actors in the leading roles, and a review of 5 stars to boot, had to be right?
wrong. was terrible.
duller than dish water. 
great performances, yes, but the film not only to keep their attention. Surely this would be a very good game, but as a movie fails miserably.
There are many excellent films out there with these fine actors - look instead! trial and error? It was definitely a trial and definitely a mistake.
